Wonders of the Peak Connected

Derbyshire Museums Service wanted to create new links between objects in their collections and the places where their stories unfold. Jim worked with Goldmark and Youniverse to create new films and animations to bring these amazing objects to life. In the course of the project, we’ve found ourselves filming snow leopards, making Monty Pythonesque animations and interviewing a guy about supporting the Beatles in 1963! They are on view within the Wonders of the Peak galleries at Buxton Museum and Art Gallery and via QR codes from locations across the county. Visitors love them and they really help to animate some subjects and objects which have been difficult to interpret in the past.
