For Arts Council West Midlands and MLA West Midlands 2008 – 11

Project manager (with Susie O’Reilly) with Compton Verney, Sandwell Museums and Walsall New Art Gallery. A three year project engaging the visual arts to develop collaborative new ways of bringing historic collections to new audiences. Three high profile projects are demonstrating how creative curatorship can affect visitors and communities’ sense of place and emotional connections to the past.

Our role was in Phase 1 to build the vision for the programme and fundraise £287,000. Then in Phase 2 to co-ordinate and disseminate an ambitious programme of artist and curator collaborations with workforce and audience development built in.
